As one customer said, “Dang! That’s Good!” and that is the only way I can describe it!” We make as much as we have chile to dry at the end of the season and when it is gone, it is gone until we open August 1 the next year. Some customers were creative with it too. They used it as flavoring in a Chicken Casserole and had rave reviews. Unfortunately when she came back for a winter supply it was all gone for the season. New Jams and Jellies Fire Mountain Fruit Butters, Chokecherry and some Pepper Jams/Jellies from Fire Mountain Fruit Company of Hotchkiss, Colorado. (Interesting note is that many, many years ago Bracewell, which is the community Tigges Farm is located was called Hotchkiss but gave up the name because there was already a Hotchkiss in Colorado, or so the story has been passed down for years.) So when we were looking for a new supplier of Colorado preserves it is with delight that we have "Hotchkiss" coming back to the "Bracewell" community.) About Fire Mountain Fruit Trappist Monastery Preserves Eight varieties of fruit preserves and several pepper jellies/jams are on our shelves. These preserves have all been made with traditional recipes by the Monks of Saint Joseph's Abbey in Spencer, Massachusetts. About Trappist Monastery Preserves
